I am not sure about the storyline, I watched it like 5-10 years ago..... It's about a blind guy who is very accurate and precise with a sword. I remember one scene where he threw up an apple and then cut it in half, or the other one where he cut the guy in half (through the waist), and the guy fell out of the building or something. I don't remember the main actor in that movie, but for some reason I think it's Michael Douglas. Anyway, if you know and can tell me the name of this movie that would be awesome!!! I really miss the sword slashing action.......

I think you maybe talking about a 1989 movie called "Blind Fury" with Rutger Hauer. He was blind loner guy that somehow ended up trying to protect a little kid from some men that want to kill him for some reason. He carried a cane with a sword in it I think and he kicked a** protecting the kid with karate and the sword and other objects he got his hands on. pretty good movie.

It actually sounds like you may be talking about "Blind Fury", but Rutger Hauer (however you spell his name) was the protagonist. If you are remembering "Blind Fury" you have good taste in movies. It was a funny flick with loads of good action, and R.H. is great.
