I have been married 8 years, things are okay, but could be a lot better. The issue is, he's a complete homebody. Never goes out, has no friends at all besides me, and does not want any. That said, I do want to go out and do things, but have very few friends to do so with, in fact, none where I live. My pals are in NE and Canada! What do I do? Do I sit there with him in the easy chair and rot away or what? I want to go places by myself, but he says it's too dangerous, watch your back. Please help...any advice appreciated!

yesterday, my car all of the sudden lost all of its power. Then engine light is on. It speeds up so slow so I took it to the dealers and they said it was accelerator censor or something. I never heard of anything like this. What could be the cause of it?

My friend has recently asked me for advice as she is torn between two guys who are both interested in her. I am her best mate so she doesn't go to anybody else for advice. She is a very pretty Chinese girl (and when I say pretty I mean drop dead gorgeous). The first guy pursuing her is Japanese. He's very nice but quiet. My friend likes him very much. The second guy is White-British. He's fun and makes her laugh. Since she is fond of them both equally she does not know what to do. No jokes please...she can't have both of them of course! I have a bright yellow, folding, Stanley-type knife with a belt clip. If I had to pop out to Homebase whilst in the middle of doing some DIY and forgot I had left it clipped to my belt in plain sight, could a policeman (doing his job correctly and to the letter of the law) arrest me for carrying a concealed weapon or would he have to be able to prove some sort of intent first?

Based on answers to my first two questions, no one knows enough about evolution to actually defend it rationally or to offer better data. (Granny A opted for a much SMALLER fossil record than the one I offered and took on faith that the fossils in Montana and Mongolia would naturally yeild support for evolution, though they have not been studied! That's what I call faith!)

Another answer stated that there's no such thing as "devolution". That's' a failing grade automatically.

Christians base their beliefs on personal observation--a personal relationship with God, we they say we're crazy!

Evolutionists have far less basis launch into untested assumptions to defend their religion.

For all of you bragging about being in the science disciplines, you've made a very poor showing!

I just bought a new rectangular area rug. It came in a roll, and when I unrolled it at home, the part of the rug that was in the very center of the roll turned out to be all kinked and curled. I tried putting heavy books on it for a few days to flatten it out, but that didn't really work. I don't think I can iron it. Any suggestions?
