The Church of Reality is not a religion of science, it is a religion of people. We explore reality from the human perspective. In order to explore reality we need a strong, healthy society where people can live freely and peacefully, and the human race can evolve forward toward a better future. The pursuit of reality is something that is a shared process. It's something we do together as a church, as a community, and as the human race.

My dog is a chihuahua and he sheds ALOT. He is not long haired. I know that I need to get a brush to help remove the dead hair. I tried using a rubber type brush, and it helped, but not even a minute after brushing him, he started shedding even more. I tried using another brush that I found at walmart(it was made for removing the dead hair), and it has metal bristtles, but they were sharp, and after one try at brushing him it didn't do it any more because they were hurting his skin. So, I guess my question is, what kind of brush should I purchase, and where can I get it?

Purchased a New Home Memory 7 used - no manual unfortunately - can't get it to do a basic stitch! It sews 2 or 3 stitches and the needle jumps to the left. When I check it, there is a TON of thread under the material. Any ideas what is going on? I don't even understand how to thread this thing, I can't see where the thread is going.

How long until your puppy actually would start telling you that he needed to go outside - by sitting the door, ringing bells, barking = whatever.

1. Dogma- I thought it was very creative and funny, has a lot of good lines "Mass genocide is the most exhaustive activity one can engage in..."
2. Goodfellas- One of my favorites.
3. In the mouth of Madness- Not a well known movie. I would suggest all see it.

My parents have been married for 30 years but have been having constant arguments over the last 6 years and it is getting progressively worse. Almost any little thing can spark off an argument. There has been no infidelity in the relationship but a huge lack in communication between the both of them. My mother is suffering from depression as she feels that she is 'unloved' by my father although he says he loves her. She has been acting very jealous of late and often without any basis. She has also recently retired from her job as a general practitioner. She now often says that we don't need her and she feels so empty. Myself and my other sibling are currently overseas studying. She will bring up problems in the past and mistakes that my father has done one of which was not being there with her during her labour as he was busy working. She took an overdose about a year ago but thankfully it wasn't fatal. I hope someone can recommend a good dvd as we have tried to solve the problem.

I am just a Mom, from an upper middle class suburb. I have a 14 year old who want to "go emo" and I am not sure what she means. She cut her hair off (waist to pretty short), and wants a new wardrobe from Hot Topic.

I am not sure what is up.

This girl is an A student, very popular, very happy. No drugs, no bad behaviour, no depression problems.

I ask for an explaination and hear "its the cool thing", and "you don't understand". She is right about the second part. The clothing she wants is downright ugly.

I read here that is a music genre, but she isn't into music of any kind. When she listens she seems to like classic rock.

I once put some in a jar,
for a time of darkness.
it was gone after sunset.
I arose next morn in the dark,
and awaited one hour for its return.
