because he has enough points from the National Guard Reserve. He is now active duty. (He went through MEPS on the 5th.) He told me he WILL be going to Iraq but doesn't know when yet. He is marrying a 17 year old and she is due with his child May 27th. Will this have an effect on when they ship him out or will they ship him reguardless of his childs birth date? The mother will turn 18 in the first part of June. Please, Army personel that have some experience in the matter answer this one. Thank you in advance for your answers and to those serving, THANK YOU! (If it helps, his MOS is 13delta, whatever that means.)

don't even know where to begin with this subject.



I've been with my man for 3 years. As of last year we were engaged. Now at the time I said yes I took the ring and we were realy happy. 1 year goes by and still no wedding plans. He blames my parents b/c they don't want to help. Know how can my parents help when he dosen't have a steady job??? What does he think that my parents are going to just buy everything for us and were gonna live for me? I've always had steady jobs, I went 2 school I did my thing. He hasn't. He never had a steady job. He got his CNA witch got him a stressful low paying job in a nursing home. He quit that job and went back to his construction job. His boss is my dad's best friend. Now if it wasn't for my dad's friend my man would be home sitting on his *** watching cartoons. OH he lovees to watch tv. He keeps saying hes gonna go back to school hes gonan do this and hes gonna do that. I see no change. My friend who's been 2gether w/ her man for as long as we have dropped the good news that their getting married later this yr. Nothing drastic. There just getting a license and gonig on a honey moon. Thats exactly what David and I wanted. I don't want a fancy smancy wedding. What for? To show off? Id rather blow it off on a beautiful house and fancy vacations. Life is 2 short. I wanna enjoy my self, see new things, learn new things. I don't throw all that money away for one day. Its not worth it 2 me.



No Dave and I got into a lil fight. Tell me if im wrong. Today he had work. What do you think he was doing last night? Certainly wasn't anything useful. He was at a bar with his friends partying till 3am. Now Im not agianst him going out with his friends. He can do what ever he wants. What upset me the most is his irresponsibility. He could of went out and left around 12am. But no. He was a follower and he stayed out till 3am. Lazy *** can't even get an alarm clock. I have 2 wake him up in the morning. IF it wasn't for me 2day he wouldn't have made it into work. I called him irresponsible. HE said u knwo what don't talke me. Does that sound like a man to you? You know what dave. Let ur momma take care of you. Its her ****** fault your the way you are. I notice the change in him. He hasn't come by my house you know what his excuse is? b/c my parents throw him out at 10pm. Well not litery but my mom starts yelling at me 2 throw him out. He understands so he leaves angrily. Common sense. I Have work, you have work, my parents have 2 wake up in the morning, my brother has 2 wake up in the morning...leave at an appropiat t ime go dammit. T heres no need for me 2 tell him that. But no...were wrong he's right. Oh and did I forget 2 mention another reason why he dosn'et come..b/c I don't cook for him. What am I his ****** wife? I live w/my parents. Its diff. If we lived on our own and it was a week end then find I'll cook. I'll make something.



Bottom line: He should of never given me the ring. I shouldn't have even ask him. Its my fault. I pressured him. Maybe he felt that if we didn't get engaged I would leave him. Well either way im gonna leave him b/c we can't stay like this. We just cant. I want to be alone and enjoy my self with my friends and family. Screw marriage. I just want to enjoy my life b/c life is 2 short. I don't need a man. I work, I make money. I pay for my lil room at home. Say what ever you want about my parents. My dad is not working, my mom was always a stay at home mom. My brother and I have 2 chip in. Its the right thing to do.

Are sick of the people posting really idiotic questions?

It's as if the forum is not monitored.

Eg. the one guy posted something abt aborting a child with down's syndrome & then another abt whipping a kid.

As far as I know this is a forum for people with some sort of decency and these whackjobs are taking the piss out of everyone else.
