I once put some in a jar,
for a time of darkness.
it was gone after sunset.
I arose next morn in the dark,
and awaited one hour for its return.

you have the same amount of sunshine, it's a matter of when the sunshine is, more in the morning or more in the afternoon, evening hours. Going ahead one hour will give more sun in the pm hours of the day. Indiana has fought over this issue as long as I can remember, now that they have made the change, people are crying. I grew up in Illinois, so I grew up with the time change. NO BIG DEAL. Get used to it. I like an evening sky that is bright and a late sunset because I stay up late at night. I will actually be able to enjoy sunsets now because they won't happen when I am busy with my household needs of cleaning or cooking or whatever. I should have my daily work done and be able to sip coffee and watch the sun go down. I love the sky, always have! Take time out and watch the sun set or rise, it changes your outlook on life to see such beauty!

Not all states 'spring ahead' or 'fall back'. I'm in one of those states.

Still stinks. I watch 2 tv shows a week- and if my hubby doesn't pay attention to the time(I'm a blonde -come on) I miss my shows.

Cause even though our time doesn't change - the time things happen does. Stupid.
