I just joined the Navy, scheduled to leave for basic training in June. A week after I swore in and signed my contract my Navy recruiter calls me and says that MEPS did my background check and I have a warrant from not completing my community service hours from a "Theft Under $300" charge from 1998, but my recruiter, a few other people and i have called the central processing staion,the court houses, court clerks, and police stations, and they all say there is no record of me having any warrants. Now the Navy might not want to take me in, how is this possible???

I can honestly say I liked both. I liked hearing Coach and JR argue and Joey Styles was still fun to listen to, so to be it's a toss-up.

So which do think sounded better, the era with JR or the era with Styles? I was just glad Coach was in there in both eras.

Today is International Women's Day. I was reading different features on this day in a newspaper. While reading different successful and unsuccessful stories a question rise in my mind which i want to share with you all. When I was driving the other day I avoided a nasty pothole and by doing so it lined me right up to hit the one infront of it, which I didnt see. Well my car started popping really bad after I hit it. I am a Canadian citizen & resident, and have worked in US as a nonresident alien for a couple of months last year. The US employer deducted Social Security & Medicare Tax (about $2,000) from my payroll. I understand Social Security & Medicare Tax are like CPP in Canada, which I can get benefits after retire (if stay in Canada for more than 10 years).

If I don't go US later, I can't get any benefits from US after retire. Neither can I get refund my contribution according to the policy (http://www.irs.gov/publications/p519/ch08.html#d0e9552, only students can get refund). Is it fair?

Can anyone explain this?
