Also check out stay at home moms groups and other groups in your city/county who are more likely to be interested in starting a business. Contact them and maybe request a presentation if you are offering some sort of a business opportunity
Forums online = there are a number of websites operating forums where you can meet people who wants to start a business

If you have an idea for a business, you would be best to talk to your friends about it and see if they are interested, if they are not, find out why, maybe your plan isn't so good.
Friends can make a business happen, because they beleive in each other and what they are doing, because starting a business is slow and not too profitable at first.
