I am looking for a non denominational church to attend on Sundays, one with enthusiasm and singing and enthusiastic and encouraging ministering. I am Catholic but have made a concerted effort not to force my 8 year old son to go tomass because of the boredome factor. He has Autism and is motivated by music and upbeat speaking. I want to find a church where every sermon isn't about giving to the church. I don't want someone telling me who is "evil" in the world ( ie gays, people living together that aren't married, single moms, druggies, criminals). And this is probably a toughy, but I really tend to stray away from any severe and literally bible thumping.
Can anyone stir me to some church in the Detroit area that has some or all of these qualities?

I have a 1997 Ford Aspire and im getting about 21 miles to the gallon . What the hell could be causing a car that should be getting 40 miles to the gallon to do so bad ? I have changed the air filter , and spark plugs . What else?

I am currently going to a magnet school (high school) which has 300 students in it. It has some sports like tennis and soccer but in my sophomore year, i want to play football and my grades in my magnet school are a's, b'b and c's.
I have a hard biology class but i am deciding and this decision is very very hard.
Negatives and Positives

My Magnet school
+less students
+good chance of getting to college
+safe campus
+not very many fights
-Not alot of american sports, no baseball, football or basketball.
-The students have bad temper and get attitudes
- classes are very very hard and lots of homework

Regular school
+ all the sports i like
+ easier classes in which i can probably maintain a 4.0 average (my magnet school average is 3.1)
+ I heard not that many students there have attitudes and its in a safe county
- Drug sells
- lots of Bi people there
- large campus 1600 students
- too many asian kids

I'm curious who cooks and is also a musician. If so, are your styles the same?

1) I improvise cooking BUT play songs I learn
2) I improvise music BUT cook from recipes

i have a large, two level rat cage that houses 5 female rats. their platforms are the hard plastic. i need something that i can wipe and disinfect everyday because they defacate on it and i don't want them walking around in that kind of stuff. i've used unscented baby wipes but it doesn't take the smell away. i've even used a wet wash cloth. does anyone have any great suggestions? my rats refuse to use a litter pan. they just sleep in it. crazy rats....

my child is in the extra picky eater stage he only wants to eat meat by this i mean no rice no fruit no vegetable no potatoes you got the picture... I want advice from mom so he start eating well again he was a really good eater thats why im worried. please the doctor already give him some vitamins but i havent done anything he still eats the same way. i cut MYself. I won't stop and I AM always complaining about how "fat" or "ugly" i AM . i think i'm fat because I'm 5'6 at 130 pounds and ugly because I AM missing 2 tooth on her top jaw on the sides. i AM scared of doing something I'll regret. I hate my parents, I wants to be adopted. I have sucidal thoughts. I cry herself to sleep everynight. I scream my heart out alot, and I have alot of stress lines at the age of 13. I want to run away. Please I'm scared.
