Seriously. I want to applaud you for being rude & ad-hominus to Christians. You are at least living out your beliefs...and it is refreshing to see consistency.

***I am trying to reword this, so forgive the redundancy.***

Edit 1- Let Me Think
Are you saying there is a plank in my eye? I don't think so. Actually I really care about you guys and do take your questions seriously. And, unless I otherwise state it, I am always sincere in my thoughts. I am actually a very kind guy. I am....a daisy!

if anything ur the one being rude to the Christians right now...im a Christian...and i have not been rude to anyone...i dont go up to their face and tell them they are going to hell...i may mention hell...but im not doing it in a way that is offensive...i try to make sure its not offensive. im a Christian who isnt mean....because thats not how Jesus is. so why do u applaud the atheists and the pagans because they are sometimes mean to the Christians FIRST. i look at peoples questions and they have so much sarcasm...and they cuss and then sit there and keep saying, ' there is no god!!!' we get the point that they dont believe there is a god. and they can be mean and call us stupid....u want to applaud that? i havent seen any Christians that are mean...but i wont say there arent any. there probably are and they arent living the Word of God. both sides have been rude and mean...if u will applaud one....then why not applaud both?

I agree with you in some way, but not all atheists are rude. Because I'm a christian I dont believe in athesiam but I would respect the people and keep to myself. I dont want to be a mean person.

I'm an agnostic, and I'd like to say the rudeness isn't necessary. BUT! Sometimes in the face of willful, religiously motivated, ignorance it's unavoidable. Also, very satisfying.

You are being insulting, intentionally or not (I assume intentionally). It is not a part of atheism to be rude to other people--perhaps you should look up "atheism." Some atheists are rude, some Christians are rude, some Muslims are rude, some Pagans are rude, etc. ad infinitum.

I'm beginning to get curious about the evidence. Has anyone tried to count the number of Atheist insults vs Christian ones? I wonder what the data really says. (All us atheists believe in data - right?)

Well, sometimes Christians and Catholics can be just as rude and inconsiderate. But it's true, if every Christian was as passionate about their beliefs as some atheists, we'd be doing better.

Thank you.Thank you.I would like to thank the many Christians for making me feel so bad because I am gay and calling me names.I would also like to thank the church for giving my mother the impression she had to disown me.And of course I would also like to thank all those people trying to force their faith into everything and on everyone and use their buzz words "sin" and "abomination" to pass judgments and restrict people from having a happy life because they are gay.And finally, I would like to thank the preachers for rallying voters to pass bills that are based on religious ideology which only pushes America closer to a theocracy.Yes.Thank you for this award.

funny, isn't it?

how atheists state facts (not fairy tales) and you shriek at them.

yet, people like you go out of your way to post questions like these, and answers like these, to create more divisiveness, exactly what your jesus tells you not to do.

does being a hypocrite REALLY give you that much pleasure? do you imagine your jesus, sitting on a cloud, looking down on you and saying "way to go! good job! you just tried to make a fool of other non-believers! that's exactly what i would do!! fantastic! you get a gold star!!"

you drank way too much kool aid.

where you mention "living out your beliefs" -- I'd pay good money for the day to come when christians live their values (all of them) every day. IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. and you're a great example of that fact....

Christians are the ones who are telling us to die, go to hell, ect. I don't ever recall an athiest ever insulting a christian! and guess what I am not an athiest! using euphenisms will not make us like you for hating us.
