I'm curious who cooks and is also a musician. If so, are your styles the same?

Think of it as a poll:

1) I improvise cooking BUT play songs I learn
2) I improvise music BUT cook from recipes
3) I play songs I learn AND cook from recipes
4) I improvise music AND improvise cooking
5) I only do either music or cooking, not both.

To clarify, I was interested in if you are improvisational in both these things? I much prefer to cook my own stuff than work from recipes, and I much prefer to improvise music than work from stuff other people have written.

I can draw inspiration from it, but ultimately I do my own thing.

I was wondering if, among those who both cook and play music, those who improvised cooking also improvised their music, and if those who liked working from recipes also prefered playing songs by others, and so forth.

I'm definitely a 1.
I cook better than I play, so I'm much more comfortable doing my own thing in the kitchen than going out on a limb musically!
(Plus my background is classical, despite studying jazz!)
