I am picking my husband up from the airport in 1 week. He is coming back from Iraq for R&R and I haven't seen him in 5 months. I will get a security pass to wait for him at the gate. I am pretty sure I will be bursting out in tears the whole day...happy tears of course. Even if I try to fight it, I know the second I see him I will burst out into tears! I love him so much and I have missed him terribly. Tears are rolling down my face as I type.

I don't really care what people think, but I am curious as to what your reaction would be if you saw a girl like me in the airport, crying, and then running up to her husband and jumping into his arms.

I personally, would start crying, even if they were strangers! I guess this isn't really a question, just want people's opinions and thoughts. Thank you! :)

I goofed off my first 2 years of college and my grades reflect it but I finally know what I want to do with my life and I want to get serious with my studies. I'm afraid with my academic history I won't be able to pursue my career of choice. Is there any way to start over with a clean slate academically?

The kindergarten class had a homework assignment to find out about something exciting and relate it to the class the next day. When the time came for the little kids to give their reports, the teacher was calling on them one at a time. She was reluctant to call upon little johnny, knowing that he sometimes could be a bit crxde. But eventually his turn came.

Little johnny walked up to the front of the class, and with a piece of chalk, made a small white dot on the blackboard, then sat back down. Well the teacher couldn't figure out what johnny had in mind for his report on something exciting, so she asked him just what that was.

"It's a pxriod," reported Wally.

"Well I can see that," she said. "But what is so exciting about a pxriod."

"Damned if I know," said johnny "But, this morning my sister said she missed one. Then Daddy had a heart attack, Mommy fainted and the man next door shot himself."

Most of my friends including me are in our mid 40s.One of my best buddy has a son( 22yo).He committed sucide last month and even wrote a letter before he died.Ironically, the letter mentioned he was very depressed as he could not see himself to be successful in life.Despite only having his N levels he tried out many jobs but eventually he still lost out to the others no matter how hard he work.He was a good kid who's filial.Many others came with diplomas,degrees.Its a worring sign cos i'm sure there are many out there who's education level is not favourable.Many had labelled him as 'stupid" to comit sucide But the fact is these kids just cant handle the stress in the working society.Currently, if u look at the ads, a diploma or A levels are the min requirement for a post of a admin clerk.Many has called him stupid for commiting sucide but i'm sure if given a choice he will not end his life in such a way.Can our chidren handle the high cost of living standards in Singapore???

I own a 2000 Dodge Neon. It has just a little over 100,000 miles. It has brand new tires and brakes. The body is in great shape. Does not have power windows or locks. I am at a loss on what i should ask for it. any ideas?

Well, I met her while I was in my old work, she was a sales agent. We liked each other and started dating, and I proposed to her.. but she Adjoirned the matter. When I left the company and got unemployed for a while, she didn't support me more than 2 days, then she broke up.. What is the best book, not to learn introductory logic, but to have a balanced understanding of how to think critically and reasonably? I don't want to know how to construct an argument, but how to dissect the argument by finding it's illogical assertions. Sorry, I am having a difficult time describing what it is I am actually looking for. Perhaps I just need to continue to re-read the material I already have until it sinks in. I just feel as if I am not getting the most of this course and it's work and I desire more.

Been to the dr. said I have a non-specific urethritis , pain is in penis and sometimes towards the base like prostatic pain. It comes and goes, been treated with doxcycilin, was told its been shaffed or ulcerated inside and may take some time to completely heal. Some unknown bacteria the culprit. Gets worse if drink alcohol. Had all tests like white cell, std, blood in urine everything came up all good even had PSA test that was fine. So anything too nasty has been ruled out . Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar? Am 22 years old and have anxiety issues aswell.
