I have a question concerning the timeline for herpes showing up in the bloodstream. I fully understand that it could take quite some time for symptoms to surface. However, I'm needing to know if a couple has unprotectied sex, is it possible for herpes to show up in a blood test within 12-15 hours?

I have a pair of friends who are dating and were suppose to wait until after a full STD screening prior to becoming sexually involved. They broke the agreement the night before they were to get tested. About 15 hours later(next morning), they went ahead with their testing and neither suspected any issues. Unfortunately, they both came back positive for herpes and the female immediately blamed the guy for passing herpes to her. They will have to sort out who was the carrier but, I'm wondering if its even possible to be passed and show up that quickly. I've only talked to the guy but, I told him I'm thinking they both must have already had it. Please share your thoughts.

So like 3 days ago I was having contractions every 20 minutes all night long but then they stopped in the morning. My midwife told me that I was right below where I would have to call or come in to the hospital since at the time I was only 32 weeks pregnant. Well, now she measured my uterus and I'm measuring 34 weeks..well now I'm almost 35 weeks. She said she didn't need to check to see if I was dilating because she figured I wasn't since I was every 20 minutes apart. When do they start to check to see if your dilating? Also, from when you first start to have contractions.....how long was it for you to go into active labor?

that "this is the greatest thing in the world and I found it" feeling. For me it happened a couple of times. First when the local radio station played "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by the Beatles for the first time and we were in my dads car hearing it. I was 5 years old and just flipped out when I heard that song.

The second was when I bought a record from England that just arrived at the record store I always hung out at. I bought it because I got one record free with every 5 records since I bought about 10 records every week and the cover looked cool. It was the first record by Queen and no one had heard it yet that I knew so they seemed like "my" discovery and that made them even better to me

My 6 year old is going to his first all weekend sleepover. This will be the first time that him and his 3 year old brother will be apart. Now my problem is..what should I do with him so he will have a great time this weekend too. His dad will be home all weekend too which never happens and I really want to show my 3 year old a great and fun time. Particularly in the 70's. I went to ebay and seem some of the hippy inspired dresses (which are beautiful) but they are all some expensivie. I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites or vintage stores that had dresses from the 70's. I know alot of you would prob. suggest thrift stores.. but I don't think there are any in my area. I am taking Omega-3 fish oil softgels (1000 mg) once a day.
The suggested use on the bottle says to take one or two softgels two times daily, so that could be a total of 4 softgels daily.
Do you think that the one softgel (1000 mg) I am taking daily is enough?

The social security office only allows $ 12,900 that you can earn annually if I take age 63 early ss benefits.they then will COLLECT FROM YOU $1 OF EVERY $2 OF EARNINGS above that. When me and my boyfriend started going out (3 yrs ago) he mentioned to me that things between him and his ex (of 8 months)didn't work out because he kep pressuring her to take their relationship to another level but she didn't because she said "she was too young" .He also said that he thought "she was the one" and he would even tell his friends that. Months later into our relationship he started acting the same way with me. Making little comments about having kids and being together forever. And I was open and I told him I know his ex freaked out about that sort of stuff but I was willing and I wasn't afraid. Forward 3 yrs later (a couple days ago) I made a comment about marriage. It wasn't even about us getting married it was something else. HE freaked out on me and starting getting mad saying "Stop talking about stuff like that. I'm 23 yrs old and I don't need to be hearing about that right now."
