Yes, many people have. That's what being a nerd is. Or a geek. At least in high school cliques. At first I suppose I was insulted, because of the underlying notions of being weird. However, being smart gets you out on top and your intelligence pays off. College, scholarships, jobs... They don't require you to be cool and drink and smoke and make fun of smart people all the time. So, if you took it personally, that's okay. Just know that it's a GOOD thing to be intelligent.

People have told me and still that I am intelligent and that I am very articulate! But I know this already... I am a very educated Saggi who has never-ending hunger for knowledge!

Actually, yeah. But well, I wouldn't call it ''insulting'' - rather that people were jealous that I'm intelligent.

I was told during a job interview that I should hide my intelligence because it is likely intimdating. My goodness! BTW, they hired me!
