I would like to become a team driver with my husband, we have driven all over the darn place in my car, and the career is very much making us both seriously consider it. We like to drive, we have no problem being on the road alot, we don't have many family commitments, and we want to become owner operators in the end, BUT, we wanted to hear from people doing it to find out if all the things we have been told is true.

A) We know Owner Operator is costly, but we are still leaning toward it for many reasons.

B) We are being told the average is 40k a year for a driver, is this true?

C) Is their anything we really need to be aware of that we are not. We are aware of long hours, many driving hours, being cramped up in the truck together, and so forth, is their something else we need to be aware of before we pay for school?

-about how much did you get paid (i realize ever school district is different)

-about how often were you called to sub (i know it all varies)

-if you turned them down, was there a fear that they wouldn't call as much??

also, could you tell me any other pertinent info about your experience with substitute teaching? thanks.

i am looking for a p/t job that is pretty consistent, but flexible enough that if i need a certain day off then i can just say "sorry, i can't today". make sense??

I am trying to setup a TrendNet TV-IP100 internet camera. I finally got it to work at home(i.e. I can view the video from the internet camera at home on my home computer). However I am at work now and I just typed in the IP address of the camera and it simply isnt connecting to the camera. I left the camera on at home(its still hooked up to my computer). The camera instructions say something about "entering the valid DNS IP address number for my Internet camera" and "Open Second Port". Is the DNS IP address the same as the cameras IP address? Please help becasue this camera is driving me crazy!

I'm going to spend 6 months in Thailand as an exchange student, and I want to start learning thai at home.

I live in a small town and there are no courses, so I think a language software will do.
"rosetta stone" is expensive, but I heard that once you have bought it, you can use it for many languages... is that true?

please, can anyone tell me other programs or web sites?

My son is a teen ager with ADHD. He has always complained of his ears being hot, but lately it happens all the time. The turn really red and real hot, but they don't hurt. The doctor found no sign of infection and said he is not the only one, but didn't know of a way to stop it.

I've always been reserved when it comes to calling any of my bfs pet names.... even simple Babe, sweetie, or hun... I might crack out a "stud" here or there in a sarcastic tone....but people change, and I want to be more vocal like that with my bf..... and Im not sure if babe is the pet name i may want to use from time to time, bc he uses it for me...I like to keep it simple, I dont want all these weird imaginative names....maybe later on down the road if something triggers it but in general: simple. So really my question is do guys mind being called "babe" ?? If not, what name would they "like" to be called?

I need to know why my husband's ex-wife hates me soo much. I walked into my husband's life -he was separated with her for 2 years already, so I'm not the cause of their marriege to begin with. Lot of people say, cuz I'm prettier than her and also that I married him. I want his ex to stop being so mean to my husband . His ex- is using their young children as her weapon against my husband. We already filed a contempt agaisnt her not following the court order, but still she doesn't let him atleast talk to his children. I need advise. Thanks.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year now. He's 22 and I'm 20 (he turns 23 3/12 and I turn 21 5/16). We've talked about getting married for a long time and plan on building a house later in the year. The other night he asked me how old I want to be when we get married. I shrugged saying "I don't know", but to be completely honest, if he were to ask me tomorrow to marry him I'd say yes in a hearbeat. I asked him the same question and he said "I just want to get married before I turn 30!" (he thinks he's getting old). Should I tell him my feelings or let him figure out the right time for us to get married? Is this a sign that he's been thinking about proposing?
And please, no one tell me I'm too young to be thinking about marriage. I've been out of my parents' house for a while now and know all about responsibility and paying bills.
