My 6 year old is going to his first all weekend sleepover. This will be the first time that him and his 3 year old brother will be apart. Now my problem is..what should I do with him so he will have a great time this weekend too. His dad will be home all weekend too which never happens and I really want to show my 3 year old a great and fun time. He is kinda feeling left out right now hearing about what his brother has planned, We live in the country but we will be in the city tonight dropping my son off. What is some fun things to do in the city with a 3 year old???

McDonald’s Playland! What is more fun than that?

Then go sledding and have hot chocolate.

Then, tomorrow morning, make a really extra fun breakfast, like jam & French toast and let him use as much syrup as he wants.

Take him swimming. That would be hugely fun!

Check your local towns for an indoor inflatable bouncing place (large inflatables that even adults can play on). Here in Metro-Detroit these facilities are popping up everywhere. My 5 year old and my 2 year old LOVE them!! Plus, most of these places offer toddler time so they aren't playing with older children who tend to take over the bouncy thing.

I don't know about in the city but something we like to do at home and it is usually a special treat for my 3 year old girls. We have dinner and movie night. I let them eat dinner in the living room and then they get to pick out any movie they want to watch. It would be something special for your 3 year old, if you usually don't get to watch tv and eat dinner at the same time.
