They were only $300,000.00 apart in contract negotiations. I think it was a stupid P.R move, and the Oiler's should never be forgiven. I understand Gretzky,Messier, they could'nt afford, but this is absurd!..What you think?

I have an old gateway with intel extreme integrated graphics. I know I need a new computer, but I got a hold of a 128mb pci radeon graphics card. I only have pci slots. I installed the card but the graphics are worse than before. No matter how high I set the refresh rate the screen flickers like its set really low. I have a crt monitor. Is this normal with pci video cards. I thought it would be better than the integrated graphics? I have 1 gb of ram, so thats not the problem. Any insight would be great.

My 20gal oscar tank got cloudy so i did a 30-40% water change. I put 2 tabs of ammonia clear and 3 teaspoons of easy balance in my tank. It's still cloudy and my fish looks as though it has ammonia burn what do i do? It's a white oscar and the fins on the bottom of it are black on the tips and from what i can see his gills are looking like a dark red...(ammonia burn?)

Now all of the educated people know the strategies used by election parties. We are aware that ruling parties, just before election, does all kind of pleasing stuffs so that majority vote goes in their favor. And apart from that the opposing party do their role well best. But uneducated people and one living below the poverty even the middle class, choose to vote those who offer them last minute free home-to-home gifts. And these are the once who form the major part in the turnout rates after election.
At last, the winning party should fulfill our requirements and setup a strong and dedicated government. Even if we vote the most eligible one it will make hardly any difference. In my opinion, shouldn't there be a proper guidance for the above mentioned people. And choose a new medium of awareness which will help them to choose the right government along with us?

i've been trying to find that answer in several texts in the net, but i havent found out.
what im talking about goes like this:
when you compress, for example, a nerve or the brain stem, whereas a local tumor or increased intracraneal pressure, there are several reactions (dilated pupils, cardiorrespiratory arrest, etc).
now, what exactly happens? does pressure by itself cause cells damage/lesions? what kind of lesions occur? does compression trigger a response or inhibits neural signals?(like i said, dilated pupils, do they get dilated because the opposite (miosis) signals are inhibited or dilatation is triggered?, the same would go for the rest of symptons and signs associated to local/global pressure.

After all the press and people out there said he was being disrespected because of his color, and before he got his $4.7 million dollars a year contract, he threw Ron Rivera to the hounds like an old bone. I know the game a little bit, playing 3 years of ball on scholarship, and about 3 weeks in Dallas before I blew out my knee almost as bad as Livingston did recently with the Clippers. In 1976, we did not have the technology to rebuild it like they do now. Coach Ditka, who was the Special Teams coach with Dallas in those days, was as clear as day when he said, ''sorry kid, you're done.'' He was right! Anyway,I do know something about the game of football and the game of #'s. It would be hard to argue that despite a little letdown towards the end of the season, Ron and his defense got the Bears to the SuperBowl. Then, Lovie let's himgo at a bad time and now he is LB Coach for SD. Where is the fairness in that? Can anybody explain that to me please. I know what the press says.

I'm not sure how you spell it, but it sounds like Koofa-Ray. It was in the same style as Uno, where players take turns playing cards. I know some of the cards were called Flat Tire, Stop Signs, I think there were Traffic Lights. It was like you were driving and other players try to stop your progress. I don't really remember much because I was probably 10 years old when I last played it. I tried to search ebay, but I don't know how to spell it. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

I've seen a bed (which is available with a choice of mattresses) for my 10 year old son which I really like. The problem is the price is dependant on the type of matress he needs. I don't know the real difference between them - Firm, Memory, Cushion Top, Luxury Firm, Comfort Sprung. The web site doesn't really help me.

I have a three year old cat called Jess. (yes shes black and white). I have a another cat who is 9 months old as well. Over the last few weeks she has been peeing on my bed and bathroom mat. I have had her checked at the vets and all is fine. I have started closing the doors so she cant gain access to them, but manages to get in when I walk into the room, and does her business within ten seconds of being there. I have brought her a new litter box, tried numerous different types of litter, gave her loads of fuss and attention but still this keeps happeing.

Does anyone have any advice????
