You know the kind I mean. They consider pretty much everything a sin.Women in the military and workforce, condoms and sex education, certain studies of science, stem cell research and medical break throughs that come from stem cell research, planned parenthood and a woman's right to choose, homosexuality, and any religion that is not their own including to have no religion at all.
To their credit, much of their religion does, in a very obscure way, mention some of these "sins".
But these, for a lack of better words, fundamentalist extremists have become hell bent on not only addressing these issues from their beliefs but making their charge that America as a whole must adhere to their beliefs and interpretations. They walk on the Constitution and the right to freedom of religion. When they hear "freedom of religion" they assume it means freedom for just theirs to be the only one that deserves respect and administer authority on all Americans. Are they going to far?Is a Theocracy coming
