My three year old niece lives with my brother and his wife in a house built in 1750. two times that I have babysat her she has woken up screaming. The first time she was in her cot, she woke up screaming pointing at a rocking chair in her room saying ‘nana, nana’ this affected her and she wouldn’t go back to bed. All of her grandparents are alive. This has also happened when my brother was at home. The most recent time I have babysat her she woke up and came downstairs screaming (she is now in a bed) and said that someone had crept up on her, and that her dad was pretending to be a wolf, but her dad wasn’t there, yet she still insisted that someone had crept up on her. The house doesn’t usually have any bad feelings about it although I do know that there was a fire in her room but that was fairly recently and I don’t think anyone was hurt. Could you explain this?!

My 7 month old son was circumcised last week... please don't ask why I waited...view my other questions. I chagedhim this morning and a small bit of his shaft and part of his scrotal sac seem to be more red than the other areas. I use polysporin 3 times a day and vaseline every other time, always wipe very thouroughly and change his diaper as soon as its soiled. He's still a a very happy baby and if it is an infection, he is showing no outward signs of it, other than the redness. I'm just wondering if that redness is normal? I mean, wouldn't he be upset or in pain or giving me somesign that he's uncoftorable if it was infected? As for those people who will lecture me on the negative aspects of circumcision, don't bother... I've heard your views and the deed has been done. Any negative/unhelpful comments will be ignored! As for anyone else, thanks in advance, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Why does it seem we as american's are handicapped to the obvious obuse of government officials to the office they hold? What happend to "for the people, by the people". Am I missinterpreting our responsibility, or has the people spoken? Will the American public ever see a country my grandparents' died to uphold that now seems to have drown in its own greed. I want to be proud to be an American.

Hey out there... What's the cheapest DSL Internet Service Provider?

And I like YAHOO!... BUT...
The DSL connection which is $25/month, also HAVE to HAVE a wall phone service at additional $30/month ...so total is about $60/mo. after taxes, etc.

And I really DONT need my wall phone anymore (cell phone only).

So... If you have something cheaper, would you mind answering; What is it and how much per month total?

I asked that because this issue still has continued to be problems. Some male athletes dont like to have to get naked and change in front of women that are not their wives or that they dont want to get naked in front of. Also male reporters are not being granted the right to go in women athletes locker rooms. So if title 9 and equality is now a big issue in fairness of equality should females not be allowed in male athletes locker rooms or should males be allowed in females locker rooms if females are given that right to interview male athletes?

i am interested in buying one of the two but still don't know wich one is better. i heard that over 32 inches you shoud go for plasma but then some are saying that plasma has shorter life line and the screen starts shading off... so which one is best for 42 inces and why??

My boyfriend and I are thinking about buying a condo in CT. We want a 2 bedroom condo but we are afraid that with the condos fees and property taxes we will not be able to afford it. My boyfriend doesn't want to get an apartment because your rent money goes towards nothing. We are young and plan on being together, but people are warning us about making that kind of commitment and the things that could happen. His credit is really good but mine isn't perfect. What is the minimum amount of years you can take out a mortgage? What if we break up, how will that work? Can we afford to buy a condo that is $100,000 or under? Help!!!

Say you have a ball being hit from the same height with a 10 lb. versus a 20lb. weight (simulating a kick) would the distance it traveled being hit by the 20 lb. be two times the 10lb ? All other variables would be the same, I.E. controlled.

My daughter is 16 months old. I have been looking forward to taking her to get her first haircut since she was born. I thought about doing all these mother-daughter things even before she was born. My wishes were very clearly expressed to my family (my own as well as my in-laws) Everyone knew that I planned to take her and that it was very important to me. Here begins the prob! I was sitting with my daughter in my lap and I noticed that she had snips on her bangs. I immediately called my mother (as she had been watching her earlier in the week) and asked her--very calmly and politely if she had cut my daughter's hair. I want to stress here that I was very calm and polite when I asked. My mother snapped back, "No and GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE!" My husband asked his mother and she said there was no way that she had cut her hair because she had gone through this before with her first daughter-in-law and we had had a conversation about this earlier in the week. What do you think?
