is this something you can forgive without resentment? was he honest about it? will he do it again? personally if i get cheated on i leave because i feel if he wanted to be with her so bad he was willing to risk our relationship he must be selfcentered and not really love me . i dont cheat i think cheating is a waste of time and it hurts everyone involved. if he was honest about it and sorry about it and you think it was a one time mistake thats something to consider when you decide wheither or not to keep him... if he lied, or is making up excuses not taking blame for his actions or you think he might be a repeat offender, leave! ---->

well, i would've said dump 'em and tell them to stay out of your life, but i've had that problem before, and i really loved him, so i know how hard it is.
if my boyfriend were to cheat on me, i'd tell hiim how i felt, and ask him why he did it. ask him if he is willing to stop seeing this girl and whether he really likes you. have a really long chat with him about it. if he shows no interest, then dump him, he's not worth it, but if he seems really truthfully sorry and ashamed, give him a second chance.
never give him a third chance! ever!

Well I had that happen before. My advice is to brake up with that person. Look for someone else. Then that someone will soon come back to you. Trust me I'm did that all the time.

That isn't love, love doesnt hurt. we as girls so yearn for affection, what gives the man a right to hurt you? Everyone makes mistakes however if he was with you when he did this this isn't love, its mind control. Move on.

depends on him...was it a one time thing? with only one person or mutliples? i might give someone a 2nd chance but their cheating would always be in the back of my mind...not sure i could deal with that...hard thing but it has to be decided on an individual basis...

If you really want to be with him maybe you could work it out but the trust wont be there for awhile
I never could work that out but maybe it was b/c I just didn't want the stress and he didn't mean as mush to me as I thought

well even if you were in love with that person it aint worth you putting up with that. i was done like that and it deeply hurt so i know how it feels but i let him go he ended up regreting it and came back to me. but girl it aint worth it if he did you like that leave him watch sooner or later hes going to regret it and come back to you, good luck and best wishes :)

i think that he might deserve a second chance because i am a firm beliver in 2nd chances... my ex. cheated on me and i gave him another chace i think guys just do it to see how fer you will let them go... maybe he wants you ot react badly and let him kno he cand do it again to show i him you really care
