Listen people take this question serious why marry someone if you are not sure take time and see but why is it a tread that someone marries you and says see you later what does that all say?

What is the biggest hindrance in your walk with God? What holds you back from being the on fire, dedicated Christian that you desire to be?

For me it's loving people. We are instructed to love one another, even our enemies. Sometimes I have very little tolerance for people. Not all people, but the pettiness and attitudes of some people. So it is hard for me to love them, when I don't even really like them. Although, of course I don't hate them, I'd just rather not be bothered by them. Good thing Jesus didn't feel that way about us.

This is something I struggle with (I"m working on it!). What do you struggle with?

I have a few ideas already but I'll offer two. First of all any religion that would break a commandment would appear to be a false religion. Catholics break the 2nd which is "Thou shall not make unto Thee any graven image" that means posters,postcards,sculptures,paintings, any image depicting the likeness of GOD which includes the image of JESUS since he is of GOD and is GOD in human form is blasphemy. Yes Michael Angelos painting of the sistene chapel although beautiful is still breaking that commandment since we don't know what GOD or JESUS looks like. Secondly, the reverence to the holy mother by praying to her is erroneous and will not constitute favor with GOD for JESUS is the way and all prayers must go through HIM when praying to the LORD which is why all prayers must include the phrase , In the LORD'S name I pray, amen. selah. Mother Mary should be revered and cherished but not be given some form of honor above or equal to JESUS for to do that would diminish HIS status.Amiwrong

My boyfriend has been so stressed out these days about his job. He's been feeling very low. He had a fight with his boss as his boss refused to promote him and in his job the only way forward is to be promoted. He works till evenings and in the meantime he goes for interviews in the lunch time looking for a new job. He spends his evenings and weekends preparig himself for these interviews. He's actually going for 2 big interviews near my city in 2 weeks time so we can see each other more often. He told me yesterday that we will meet each other in 2 weeks. He told me the other day that he's getting completely crazy with his company and he cannot wait until he leaves but he still needs to pretend in front of his boss that all is ok as he cannot just leave now. He told me he needs time to focus and he warned me he may be less available for me until then but I have not been able to leave him alone. I have become needy and I told him we're loosing our relaitonship. He became upset with me.

I'm 25.. I'm young, but damn, I've had too many thing thrown at me... I've lost my home, lost my love, lost my faith, lost my friends and now, I feel like I lose myself. I'm tired of all of it... betrayal, loss, anger... I wanna end this... now.
What good is trying if there's always someone who will put you down? I'm broken, the people I've trusted... betrayed before my eyes... my "friends". I wanna end my pain. Leave it all behind.
