You are right. We Indians contribute for the image of India to the whole world. Just the way that your acts, your mentallity, etc. mark your personality uniquely; we Indians contribute in defining the image of India.
In those early days, India was known for it's rich heritage. That's because the Indians then maintained it. These days India is known for all the things that we Indians contribute in. The heritage is simply history these days...
