Every once in a while, my friend buses home from work with me. The bus is usually full by the time we get on, and there is a faint smell of cigarette smoke on him when he sits next to me. I am a non-smoker and as far as I know I'm pretty healthy, so am I being affected by the smell of smoke he carries in any way? (He smokes about half a pack a day)

I am reading through these questions and I find that people make a lot of statements about Christianity. Most of the statements are based on false premises. Most of the people who ask the questions ask them with prejudice and a lack of understanding of what Christianity means. I ask that you please have a complete personal understanding of what a Christian is, maybe have someone explain it to you so at least you will be accurately with your insensitive comments. Is that too much to ask?

How can I make my already fixed male dog stop marking his territory on everything from my pillow to the curtains to anything else below knee level. He isn't going to the bathroom but simply marking. He's been fixed for 3 years. There are 2 other male dogs in the house but none of them mark on anything and they are not trying to outdominate one another.

I am a software developer and started sending out my resume to get a newer, better position. I thought that with my many years at this company, people would be interested. Well, nobody is. So, if a hard working, nice guy cannot better himself, why be a nice guy? Why not lie on my resume stating I have knowledge I do not? Maybe I should even dress in drag and become a pretty woman instead of a 50 something, honest man. Maybe I will get a better position with the sex appeal some women have. And, the problem isn't age because I am more youthful and sharper than most 40 year olds. Anyway, most of the software developers at my current company are in their 40's and 50's, and we even have a 70 year old who is great. The problem is my honesty. So, why live an honest life at all? How do the big shots get ahead and make millions while the rest of us play by the rules and are lucky just to remain employed? I am beginning to think that the real jerks become the big successes.

well, i went out with this guy ben in the beginning of Sept of last year, we didn't last very long, only til november because we had a huge fight over nothing really. and since then he has been flirting with me and going on and on about how good we were together and stuff. the school dance came along, and he asked me out, but 3 days later he broke up with me because "he was pressured to do it" and other bs excuses. he's not the guy that can get over girls that easily, and i know that. but


he keeps looking at me actually staring, and trying to flirt with me.

I have two baby budgies. Pippin(male) came home with me in December and Merry (female) came home four weeks after. Pippin had a mirror in his cage and I found that they were fighting over it a bit so I put another mirror in the cage. This is a large cage with plenty of room for both of them and they have other toys to play with also. I found them still wanting to be at whatever mirror the other is at and Pippin sometimes bullies Merry a little and then she does the same back. It does not last long and neither seems upset afterward. Pippin does the same thing with the millet spray too. Is this just playful fighting or something to be upset about?
