I am married, my husband would love to adopt my daughter! She is british, me too! Here in switzerland, we need her fathers sign, but he is not willing to do it, that means we can't adpot her, its impossible. Is it possible because both of us(my daughter n me) r british, for my husband to adopt her in the Uk? Whats the procedure?

There are quite a few international conventions on the subject, and I really can't imagine the British authorities would accept this. Probably they would not decide at all, but send you to the authorities of Switzerland as you are living there.

. That's not a good thing your ex is the father of the child and to sneak like little cowards is not good at all .Dont you see what your doing ? Grow up and be good people .Who cares what last name the kid has as long as you love her. Are you or your husband ashamed to say that he is not the real father what are you trying to hide.
