Being Lord, JESUS already knew that Judas would betray him. Even we read in the Bible that David had prophesied about this as well (psalm 41:9). Then why did JESUS still took Judas as a disciple ???

Maybe it's because Jesus had a martyr complex.

I kid, I kid ....

If we accept the Bible on its face (and personally, I don't), then Jesus was merely fulfilling prophecy. To do anything other than choose Judas would be going against god's will, right?

It should be remembered that the Gospels were not written in Jesus' time and were handed down orally for some time. When they were finally committed to page, they were likely distorted (however inadvertantly) to reflect the times in which they were written.

Yes, Jesus knew that Judas would betray him. But Jesus still took Judas because well, he wanted to. And because you know, Judas had a choice to not betray Jesus. He didn't HAVE to be the one who betrayed Jesus. It could have been someone else.
Sure, Jesus took Judas in because someone had to betray him, but like I just said, Judas DIDN'T HAVE TO BE THE ONE to betray Jesus. It could have been Peter!

isn't the entire Judas tale the oddest project? right this is Jesus, drawing extensive crowds, being watched via the clergymen and the positively the Romans, and the Romans want Judas to indicate out which one Jesus is? and that they paid him for it? Why did they even want Judas for that? I, for one, think of there is something a splash fishy bearing directly to the Judas-betrayed-Jesus difficulty.

Jesus knew Judas would be the instrument of Satan which is WHY Judas was chosen, and why Satan was ALLOWED to possess Judas.

God used Satan's desire to kill Jesus to accomplish His sovereign will that resulted in the salvation of untold millions of souls through the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus.

1Corinthians 2:6-8

"Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory."

Psalm 41:9
Someone had to betray him, and Judas just happened to be that man.
