I am reading through these questions and I find that people make a lot of statements about Christianity. Most of the statements are based on false premises. Most of the people who ask the questions ask them with prejudice and a lack of understanding of what Christianity means. I ask that you please have a complete personal understanding of what a Christian is, maybe have someone explain it to you so at least you will be accurately with your insensitive comments. Is that too much to ask?

I think people form alot of opinions based on half baked theories and ignorance. The best thing you can do is not let them get to you. It would be nice to think by putting up a post like this it might make them think twice before acting like a moron. Unfortunately they're probably too stupid to actually see the irony in it!

Those that do research tire of the rationalization of perfection the Christians apply to nearly all their answers as well as the constant use the the Christian created persona of Satan to try and belittle and frighten others.

Like any other religion Christianity is compiled of humans who are good , bad, powerful, weak, childish, nasty, kind, malevolent, haughty, and ignorant of their own religion but ready to denigrate those with knowledge beyond theirs.

many claim that they were Christian at one point, which is strange considering the epistles say that "they were with us, but not of us". Most have the "seed among thorns (peer-pressure)" or "seed among rocks (unnacceptance)" syndromes. So there is another example of them not doing their research.

and non-believers, mainly atheists, tend to ask questions not for an expansion of knowledge, but simply to challenge our beliefs. And yes, if they did their research, they could find out the answers to so many over-asked questions...

Ok and will the Christians research other religions/beliefs and stop making foolish remarks and false statements?

I have yet to find anyone on this site with a highschool education much less a degree in theology or ecology.

I have both but that just confuses me more.

Perhaps to get you so frustrated to the point where you break down and beg for them to do their own research. Solution: suggest that they read the Bible-help them out maybe!?!

I think what you are failing to realize is that some of us are former Christians who would know what we are talking about based on our personal experiences.

when christians as a whole quit insisting that the bible is the single universal truth of the universe. then they can ask others to do research.

Because their purpose isn't to really find out the truth it's only to annoy and irritate others. Especially believers.

If you had done your research, you would have had your answer.

I believe most people come and ask questions here to avoid having to research them themselves.
