I'm a first year at Trinity. I'm studying to be a surgeon one day. I'm very focused since I know what I want. I never settle for less of an A, even A- is not good enough for me. So I try to do my best at everything. This all sounds great, but then I isolate myself. I force myself to be so focused that I feel like I'm driving my friends away. Haha, the fact is I don't even have that many friends at all, and I'm isolating myself from the only friends that I have. I have a great family, and my best friends and my boyfriend are all back home. I think I need to stress that because I'm not a complete anti-social freak. I guess I'm just so ambitious and determined that I don't want anything to get in my way. Am I doing the right thing? Whenever I hang out with my friends at school, I feel like I'm taking out time that I could used for studying. I love studying, to be honest. I'm passionate about learning things. Learning makes me feel alive. But is this imbalance good?

For spring break, I am going with my family(two adults, two kids) to New York city.
Does anybody have any info on a good hotel in or around manhattan at a good price (possibly even less than 300 dollars)? I've looked at many websites and found many hotels, but the problem is that I have no infromation on which areas would be a good idea to stay, and which wouldn't!
We are thinking about going sometime around the second week of march, for 4-6 days..

any help would be much appreciated!!

Remodel in basement - walk-in closet - pocket door - switch will turn light on when door is opened, off when closed. So I turned the power off, put up the closet light fixture, then got zapped when I tried to put in the switch. When I touch the wires from the switch (both black) to the white wire (12/2) it buzzes. I'm just a girl trying to save a buck or 100. Electricians are spendy because they're so smart - can anyone help? Thanks

On Friday's for lunch I always have two sushi rolls, sometimes three. They are very small. I often have salmon and avacado, or prawn and avacado. Is this alright for me to eat as i am trying to lose weight but ADORE sushi and find it very filling! I hear its good, is once a week (2-3 rolls) ok?

ohh golly! every single girl must have issues with this...and i do too
!!!! its facial hair no matter what you do wax, tweeze, bleach it seems like it never ever goes away! i have been using this stuff called epil-stop and you can use it on small areas to remve hair but the hair still comes back!! its so annoying i cant afford to get lazer right now so yeha is there anyhting to do to stop this or is it always going to be there!!!???

i have court tomorrow for taking 465 dollars out of fathers account in md. basically im being charged with forgery public document up to 10 yrs for this charge and two theft under 500 one charge for 450 and one for 15 dollars which are misdemeanors. basically i was working for the bank and i signed his nam eto withdrawal slip. he did not press charges my grandmother did who was recently added to account. i was fired from bank and they press charges i wen to pi hearing and fraud investigator just wants restitution. i do have a lawyer no prior record or offenses and have two children one of which is a month oldand the other two years old. i have no one to take care of my month old so it is likely i will take her with me.i am curious to know is it likely they will send single mother to jail and if so where do kids go.ny lawyer says i will probably have to plead to one charge in which we will ask for pbj. im in md please help

Ok, First of all, I've been with my guy for 5 years and I love him like no other. I would never dream of cheating on him. However, he won't work out with me. So this morning, I was working out and a guy from my work noticed me there. He came up to me and started working out with me, I asked him if he would help me get motivated to workout every day since I really have very little motivation myself. He said he would be glad to train me and we exchanged numbers. I made it clear to him that I was taken so he wouldn't get the wrong idea. i have fallen in love with him . he is the most delightful little felllow ever. someone clearly didn't want him because he smelt and did no research on how to deal with the smell. he has been to be neutered today and seems fine.
