Which situation would you rather havE? LIving in a small one to two bedroom apartment in a very rich city, or live in a mansion in the middle of the nowhere/desert?

The mansion, assuming I don't need to be in the city for economic reasons. In fact, that's about 50% of my master plan, building a mansion in the middle on nowhere, whereever I can get some cheap land.
(As long as I can get good internet access, and I figure by the time I'm ready, the entire planet, more or less, will be blanketed in WiMax, or some better technology.)

I would say in the 1-2 bedroom apartment because if i ever need any help then there will be people to help me.
But in the desert there will be no people and the hospital and the neceaasry stuff will be hard to get there like food and groceries.
That is why i choose a 1-2 bedroom apt in rich city.

Mansion in the middle of nowhere. I'm not a fan of cities. I like the peacefullness of having to drive a ways to get to that hustle and bustle. I'd even choose the small apt in the middle of nowhere over a mansion in a rich city.

I would be perfectly happy in a small apartment in the middle of nowhere. I'm not really a city person, so the Mansion would just be a bonus. LOL

Id live in the mansion...I have 4 kids and live in the middle of nowhere now, so that wouldnt be a problem:)

Apartment in the city. The concentration of things to do in the city and the cultural wealth make up for the small size of the apartment. :)
