With out your parents finding out? If you are not comfortable enough to express yourself to even your family members that you have to conceal your wants, you may not be ready for the transition.
A. They are going to notice
-going from brown to blonde is very noticalbe, it doesnt naturally happen over night.
B. Do it right
-start subtle. Try a mix of high lights, slowly and gradually lighten you hair, it will be better for it.
C. If your determined
-There is a lightner that isnt extremely harmful that you can do your self. The product is called "touch of sun" you can get this from any department store such as Walmart and or Target. This will lighten the hair to blonde, but be careful of use, it can turn your hair green if you use an excessive amount.

well...hon hate to break it to ya, but if youre a brunette turned blonde....chances are SOMEONE is going to notice!!! lol as for the other part, you can make it gradual so it wont be that noticeable at first..... i ve used hydrogen peroxide and can testify that yes it does make brown hair a lot lighter, but also damages hair a bit....nothing a good conditioner wont work out though....also lemon juice....if you get the juice and (actually for the peroxide too...) put it on b4 goin in2 the sun it will help a LOT!! other than those home things, try getting one of those loreal "true match" or whatever .... go w/ a friend to the store and not w/ ur parents i guess lol ... so you can also try one of those blonde shampoos ...like the shampoos made specially for blonde hair to accent it and make it stand out....those will bring out your natural or otherwise highlights and make your hair seem lighter!! good luck!!! xoxo, caitlyn

First off, if you are living under your parents roof, they are going to find out by looking at you. Why are you going to hide it? If you want to get it done, talk to your parents about it. If they disagree, then just live with it. Besides, what is wrong with your hair right now? Chances are, you may not have the right skin tone to carry blonde hair and it could end up looking awful. At home bleaching is difficult and you can end up with some very scary looking hair. It is best left to the pros to do that type of stuff.

if you change your hair from brown to blonde, that a drimatic change and your parents will most likey be able to notice. Also im a natural brunette an i died my hair out of a box an it didnt come out that good, changing your hair that dramatic you want to go to the salon! maybe simply asking your parents an telling them you'll do extra chores around the house will help.

The only thing stupider than the Blonde sterotype is a child sneaking around to be one.
Get a wig.
