I currently have 2 cheap dvd players - a Yamada GDVD301RP player (£39 from Amazon) and a Goodmans DVD 5501 writer (£65 from Tesco). I want to pipe the sound through a high-end amplifier (Arcam). Unfortunately, the Yamada sound quality is muffled, flat, and lacking any kind of real quality or depth. The Goodmans on the other hand gives a reasonable sound with good tonal qualities - unfortunately, it does not have any form of volume control which I need.
Can anyone reccomend a cheap DVD player (with volume control) that gives a very good quality sound (from Mp3 disks)?
