Does anyone prefer being single or do you just say it to hide your true feelings??

I was single for three years before I met my current partner and I loved every single minute of it! It was through my own choice - I dated guys but none was good enough for me to give up my single life until I met my current boyfriend.
I think it depends on the individual. If you're quite insecure and need to validate yourself with someone else's affections it could be quite daunting. If you like your independence and your own company it's fantastic!

There are times in life when you need to deal with your own issues and personal progress. Usually at those times being single is a good thing. Especially when you're searching for answers. Still, it's not the same for everyone. Some people need it more than others.

I have got a boyfreind at the moment and i can honestly say i really did enjoy being single---actually i prefered it!!! x

in all honesty ive never had a good relationship so i do prefer being single, i love being able to go out when i want, with who i want and do what i want.

I hide my true feelings wen i split with my bloke i was like o i dont care its great beind single.....i hated it really ...i was so depressed im bk with him now anyway so im happy but yeah most people just cover up how they really feel so they dont look stupid...

i don't prefer bein single but am ok with it for now cos i know i will meet someone soon. i look at this time as preparation and enjoy bein on my own, doin what i want to do, when and where.

i have a girlfriend, and i love it! i dont need 10 girls to juggle! i have done that and it just drains you. your phone never stops ringing and you have to remember who you were with and the names and places so i just like one girl
