I watched part of an old John Wane movie last night and got to thinking if there is anyone out there now that has the same ora about them that he had. That was a well loved and respected actor of my generation so do the young have the tame kinds of role models today???

My gf was robbed of her purse. Says she had my atm card which is I was letting her use in her purse along with the pin number which she never memorized. The thief withdrew 10,000 peso from my account.
A few days later, the police caught the thief, but he was part of a local gang that was dealing drugs, and a shootout ensued and he was killed.
I have asked her for a copy of the police report. She says she lost the report. I think she might have thrown it away once she found out the robber had been killed and was in fear of the gang he was involved in. So I had her return to the police station and retrieve a record of the report. She told me that since the robber was killed the records were transfered to the City Attorneys office. By now I am having a hard time believing this story!!
Does anyone with experience with the criminal justice system in Cebu be able to tell me if all this is plausible? Or is my gf taking me for a ride?
She had the card for a year and was always trustful

I am bringing home 2 new cats at the weekend and was wondering if anyone had any advice? Have had cats before but never 2 together. They are aged 3 and coming from a rescue centre where they were taken away from their owner because they had too many animals. They are quiet and timid at the centre because they don't like it there, but we have been assured they will become more outgoing once they have settled into a new home. Any ideas for how to settle them in as I've only had kittens before and not sure how older cats find new houses. Also, need to go and buy supplies, so was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for things I might forget!

There is no power to work any of the controlls to move the drivers seat.Could it be just a fuse.Where is the fuse box.Is there anyother possible element other than motor under the drivers seat&the button controll panel on the side of the drivers seat.

First off, you atheists cannot disprove that Christianity is no true. If you can, I would like to hear your so-called evidence.

There are not enough people in the world today, assuming you believe that modern humans are only about 200,000 years old or so.

There are about 6 billion people on the earth. Do the math and work backwards and you'll find that the earth is probably only about 6,000 years old.

Also, if the earth were too far away or too close to the sun, then we would all die. It's the perfect distance away. That CAN'T be a coincidence.

Also, evolution can't be true, because it's no longer happening and if the earth is young, then there isn't enough time for it. Also, there are problems that have NEVER been addressed. How can the eye form from nothing? What about the missing link?

We know that Jesus was the savior because there were witnesses and writings about him. Why would all those people lie?

Christianity is the one true religion. Deal with it.Thoughts?
