In religion they ask you to believe, without offering any evidence or proof except something someone wrote a long time ago, when people thought the Earth was flat and that the sun moved around it, which is what they were still teaching in Muslim schools up to 50 years ago, in some places. In science, we observe, then make a theory, then make an experiment to see if we can prove the theory is wrong, and see what happens. We estimate that there are 400.000.000.000 stars in our galaxy, the milky way, and that there are 100,000,000,000 galaxies in the universe, which we estimate is around 12,000,000,000 years old, the Sun and Earth about 4,600,000,000 years old. We shared a common ancestor with the chimpanzees, according to the fossil and genetic evidence, only 5,000,000 years ago. Go to the Google and Wikipedia websites, and enter the terms "cosmology" and "evolution". Read a modern book or two on cosmology. Your mind has been filled with many things which are untrue, by well meaning , but misguided people, and you should learn to think for yourself, because there are many people out there who want to control you, and make you do what they want, rather than what is best for you. Continue asking questions, and think about what you have learned. See: http://www.talkorigins.org/ and enter the term "astronomy" in your search engine. Start now, you have a lot of learning in front of you.

Actually nobody knows how milky way created, because we live inside the milky way after beginning of a new world of milky way. More likely the milky way is born by itself beyond our understanding, because nobody can explain it. Scientist have a theory how it was created e.g. Big Bang.

Sun is the nucleus of milky way, so there is a nature force that create it as a living energy. Sun has limited distance to lighten up in light years (to the distance of Pluto -drawf planet) if we see beyond that and backwards to see our world, we only see the milky way. It's a living matter, a sign of living force in spiritual world.

Hello kindly read with open mind. source is holy Quran.

THE BASIC PROCESS OF THE FORMATION OF THE UNIVERSE
AND
THE RESULTING COMPOSITION OF THE WORLDS

By Dr. Maurice Bucaille
The Qur'an presents in two verses a brief synthesis of the phenomena that constituted the basic
process of the formation of the Universe.
---sura 21, verse 30:
"Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together, then We clove them
asunder and We got every living thing out of the water. Will they not then believe?"
---sura 41, verse 11: God orders the Prophet to speak after inviting him to reflect on the subject of the
earth's creation:
"Moreover (God) turned to the Heaven when it was smoke and said to it and to the earth..."
There then follow the orders to submit.
The important things to remember at present are the following:
a) The statement of the existence of a gaseous mass with fine particles, for this is how the word 'smoke'
(dukan in Arabic) is to be interpreted. Smoke is generally made up of a gaseous substratum, plus, in more
or less stable suspension, fine particles that may belong to solid and even liquid states of matter at high
or low temperature;
b) The reference to a separation process (fatq) of an primary single mass whose elements were initially
fused together (ratq). It must be noted that in Arabic 'fatq' is the action of breaking, diffusing, separating,
and that 'ratq' is the action of fusing or binding together elements to make a homogenous whole.
This concept of the separation of a whole into several parts is noted in other passages of the Book
with reference to multiple worlds. The first verse of the first sura in the Qur'an proclaims, after the
opening invocation, the following: "In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful", "Praise be to God,
Lord of the Worlds."
The terms 'worlds' reappears dozens of times in the Qur'an. The Heavens are referred to as
multiple as well, not only on account of their plural form, but also because of their symbolic
numerical quantity: 7.
This number is used 24 times throughout the Qur'an for various numerical quantities. It often
carries the meaning of 'many' although we do not know exactly why this meaning of the figure was used.
The Greeks and Romans also seem to have used the number 7 to mean an undefined idea of plurality. In
the Qur'an, the number 7 refers to the Heavens themselves (samawat). It alone is understood to mean
'Heavens'. The 7 roads of the Heavens are mentioned once:
--sura 2, verse 29:
"(God) is the One Who created for you all that is on the earth. Moreover He turned to the heaven and
fashioned seven heavens with harmony. He is Full of Knowledge of all things."
--sura 23, verse 17:
"And We have created above you seven paths: We have never been unmindful of the Creation."
--sura 67, verse 3:
"(God) is the One -who created seven heavens one above another. Thou canst see no fault in the creation
of the Beneficent. Turn the vision again! Canst thou see any rift?"
--sura 71, verse 15-16:
"Did you see how God created seven heavens one above another and made the moon a light therein and
made the sun a lamp?"
--sura 78, verse 12:
"We have built above you seven strong (heavens) and placed a blazing lamp."
Here the blazing lamp is the Sun.
The commentators on the Qur'an are in agreement on all these verses: the number 7 means no
more than plurality.
There are therefore many Heavens and Earths, and it comes as no small surprise to the reader of
the Qur'an to find that earths such as our own may be found in the Universe, a fact that has not
yet been verified by man in our time.
Verse 12 of sura 65 does however predict the following:
"God is the One Who created seven heavens and of the earth (ard) a similar number. The
Command descends among them so that you know that God has power over all things and comprehends
all things in His knowledge."
Since 7 indicates an indefinite plurality (as we have seen), it is possible to conclude that the
Qur'anic text clearly indicates the existence of more than one single Earth, our own Earth (ard) ; there are
others like it in the Universe.
Another observation which may surprise the Twentieth century reader of the Qur'an is the fact
that verses refer to three groups of things created, i.e.
--things in the Heavens
--things on the Earth
--things between the Heavens and the Earth
Here are several of these verses:
--sura 20, verse 6;
"To Him (God) belongs what is in the heavens, on earth, between them and beneath the soil."
--sura 25, verse 59:
"...the One Who created the heavens, the earth and what is between them in six periods."
--sura 32, verse 4:
"God is the One Who created the heavens, the earth and what is between them in six periods."
--sura 50, verse 38:
"We created the heavens, the earth and what is between them in six periods, and no weariness touched
Us."
The reference in the Qur'an to 'what is between the Heavens and the Earth' is again to be found in
the following verses: sura 21, verse 16; sura 44, verses 7 and 38; sura 78, verse 37; sura 15,
verse 85; sura 46, verse 3; sura 43, verse 85.
1) Existence of six periods for the Creation in general.
2) Interlocking of stages in the Creation of the Heavens and the Earth.
3) Creation of the Universe out of an initially unique mass forming a block that subsequently split up.
4) Plurality of the Heavens and of the Earths
5) Existence of an intermediary creation 'between the Heavens and the Eart

Qur’an says that Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet. This gives an indication that the earth is flat. Does this not contradict established modern science?

Answer

1. Earth made as a carpet
The question refers to a verse from the Qur’an in Surah Nuh:

"And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out)."
[Al-Qur’an 71:19]

But the sentence in the above verse is not complete. It continues in the next verse, explaining the previous verse. It says:

"That ye may go about therein, in spacious roads."
[Al-Qur’an 71:20]

A similar message is repeated in Surah TaHa:

"He Who has made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels)...."
[Al-Qur’an 20:53]

The surface of the earth i.e. earth’s crust is less than 30 miles in thickness and is very thin as compared to the radius of the earth which is about 3750 miles. The deeper layers of the earth are very hot, fluid and hostile to any form of life. The earth’s crust is a solidified shell on which we can live. The Qur’an rightly refers to it like a carpet spread out, so that we can travel along its roads and paths.

2. Carpet can also be spread on other than an absolute flat surface
Not a single verse of the Qur’an says that the earth is flat. The Qur’an only compares the earth’s crust with a carpet. Some people seem to think that carpet can only be put on an absolute flat surface. It is possible to spread a carpet on a large sphere such as the earth. It can easily be demonstrated by taking a huge model of the earth’s globe covering it with a carpet.

Carpet is generally put on a surface, which is not very comfortable to walk on. The Qur’an describes the earth crust as a carpet, without which human beings would not be able to survive because of the hot, fluid and hostile environment beneath it. The Qur’an is thus not only logical, it is mentioning a scientific fact that was discovered by geologists centuries later.

3. Earth has been spread out
Similarly, the Qur’an says in several verses that the earth has been spread out.

"And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: how excellently We do spread out!"
[Al-Qur’an 51:48]

Similarly the Qur’an also mentions in several other verses that the earth is an expanse:

"Have We not made the earth as a wide expanse"
"And the mountains as pegs?"
[Al-Qur’an 78:6-7]

None of these verses of the Qur’an contain even the slightest implication that the earth is flat. It only indicates that the earth is spacious and the reason for this spaciousness of the earth is mentioned. The Glorious Qur’an says:

"O My servants who believe! truly. spacious is My Earth: therefore serve ye Me –(And Me alone)!"
[Al-Qur’an 29:56]

Therefore none can give the excuse, that he could not do good and was forced to do evil because of the surroundings and circumstances.

4. Earth is geospherical in shape
The Qur’an mentions the actual shape of the earth in the following verse:

"And we have made the earth egg shaped".
[Al-Qur’an 79:30]

The Arabic word Dahaha means egg shaped. It also means an expanse. Dahaha is derived from Duhiya which specifically refers to the egg of an ostrich which is geospherical in shape, exactly like the shape of the earth.

Thus the Qur’an and modern established science are in perfect harmony.
9. DOES ONLY ALLAH KNOW THE SEX OF THE CHILD IN THE MOTHER’S WOMB?

Question:

The Qur’an says that only Allah knows the sex of the child in the womb of the mother but now science has advanced and we can easily determine the sex of the child in the womb by ultrasonography. Isn’t this verse of the Qur’an conflicting with medical science?

Answer:

Allah is Omnipotent and Omniscient. Allah has granted knowledge of certain things to humankind. But Allah has knowledge of the seen as well as the unseen.

1. Allah has knowledge of all things
Many people believe that the Qur’an claims that Allah alone knows the sex of the child in the mother’s womb. The Glorious Qur’an says:

"Verily the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He who sends down Rain, and He who knows what is in the wombs…."
[Al-Qur’an 31:34]

A similar message is given in the following verse:

"Allah doth know what every female (womb) doth bear,
By how much the wombs fall short (of their time or number) or do exceed. Every single thing is before His sight, in (due) proportion."
[Al-Qur’an 13:8]
