China has been building up its already large and powerful military in recent times. They have one of the biggest armies in history, and are developing one of the most technologically advanced navies as well.
Do you think they will move against Taiwan one day in the near future? China has claimed that Taiwan is part of China, so this makes the possibility of a conflict likely at some point.
What will this look like if it happens? And what will be the global ramifications?

I just sold my first home, and came out with about 40k. Want to invest it, it's a great time because my employer provides housing.
I'm confused by CD's, Bonds, T Bills...someone even said I should by some land. I dont want another fixer-upper house, I'm not in the position to do that kind of work again. Any advice greatly appreciated!!
