Take her to another vet! It could be something to worry about.!!
I had a friend who had a cat with a bump on her nose that was twice as large as the size of her cats nose. I asked her what it was and if she had taken it to a vet. she told me she had and the vet also said not to worry. The next time I went over to visit her, the cats nose looked as though she had gotten in a fight with a dog or cat. It was all bloody and oozing. In fact the nose and bump looked as if it had been torn off! Within a few days later, I got a call from my friend she said her cat was acting strange and it was wandering around outside in the rain. wouldn't come in. I went over there and told her she had to take her cat to the vets now.
WE went to a different Vet and was told the cat had cancer and it had spread to her brain! It was so sad.
I was also mad at my friend for never taking the cat to another vet. In fact we are no longer friends to this day.
She let that poor cat just suffer for months.
I hope your cat doesn't end up like this, please take her to another vet soon. Maybe it isn't anything to worry about. But wouldn't you feel better getting a second opinion? Please e-mail me and let me know how it turns out.
Good luck and I hope I'm wrong and your cat is OK

Anything that is growing that quickly should be biopsied. It could just be an abcess or infection, or it could be something more serious.
