There are many anti-lice shampoos available in the market. Just go to the pharmacy and ask for a good brand. They'll help you pick one.

Go to the pharmacy and get this stuff called RID. It is for lice. It's not a shampoo. It's just a solution you put on your hair and then use this little comb to get put the nits. I recommend also putting conditioner in your hair after you have put the RID on it and it has been in for several minutes. The conditioner makes it easier to get the little comb through your hair. The RID has directions on the box so follow those and then it should take care of the problem. Also, look for the spray form for the furniture. Those things get into the upholstery and live too. Good luck!

you need a shampoo with either permethrin or pyrethrins + piperonly butoxide.

follow the package directions carefully.

apply the shampoo until the hair and scalp is saturated and thoroughly wet.

use a second shampoo treatment in 7-10 days to kill newly hatched lice, since these shampoos aren't good at killing nits.

A prescription shampoo containing malathion may be gotten from your doctor if the lice are resistant to the above shampoos.

you also will need to delouse all the clothes, bed linens, etc, otherwise the person will just become reinfested.

Doctors can prescribe what used to be known as "qwell" shampoo or cream. takes a strong medicated shampoo to work tho. Talk to the doctor or pharmacist at the drugstore.
Also will have to wash all clothing, bed sheets, pillow cases, combs, brushes towels etc... in very hot hot water with bleach to kill any possibility of spreading or eggs hatching. My kids caught them when they were young from a classmate. Experience talking here.
