I saw a ring at a mall in Colorado a few years ago and really took a liking to it, but at the time I didn't have any money with me. It was a VERY simple design, but for some reason I haven't been able to find another one like it... maybe BECAUSE it's so simple.
It wasn't very expensive, so I don't think it was made out of precious metals, and I don't really care what it's made of. The design was a plain silver-colored ring with a thin gold-colored band across the middle.
Does anyone know where I might find this ring or one like it?
Thanks in advance.

Some guy had a question about "I was raped and I liked it. Does that make me gay?". I flagged him. Rape is never funny. And I bet you can tell, I'm not a "flagger".

Europe has only soft wood trees.
The ships made of those woods are good for sailing the
Mediterranean or a smaller sea. They are no good for
sailing on the oceans.
Which country has the trees that provide
the hardest wood? India.
Hard woods like devadar, teak and mahogany
are native to India.
Rig Veda mentions ships with 100
oars. Such ships sailed over seven oceans and returned to
India. In the Artha Sastra,
Koutilya wrote about the Board of Shipping and the
Commissioner of Port who supervised sea traffic.
The Buddhist Jataka stories wrote about large Indian ships
carrying seven hundred people.
The ship of Vasco de Gama was about
to collapse when it reached India. It is the Indian marine
engineers who repaired that ship and made it worthy again
for sea travel.
The main item exported by the former British East India
Company was Indian ship. A few of these ships are still in
service, and are used for training cadets of the British
Navy. Can any one dispute this?

I Have a 14 week old baby boy, and around 7pm he starts to cry for about 1/2 hour to 45 mins every night for the past month and a half ..So I will pick him up and rub ,pat his back and then He will let go between 2 -3 loud burps...it's like ''pinned gas''. I have switched his bottles from gerber to avent ..but my question is could it be his formula..He's drinking Good Start..Also when I feed him during the day.. I do get his burps after his feedings & through out the day when i hold him he be's letting more burps out of him ..but no crying.I also do use gas drops at night to help him..What do you think?

My girlfriend and I were going out for 4 months before she broke up with me for various reasons. We still talk as friends and she still says that she loves me and that we may have a chance together again. She's going to this dance with another guy that she really likes but says that she won't fall for him. What I'm asking is what should I do to win her back and should I be worried about her being with this other guy, might it grow to be more then just a dance? Please, anyone who has any decent advice, give me a good answer, no answers that won't help me get her back.

Within hours of Hamas and Fatah declaring a ceasefire against each other, the "Palestinians" once again turned their attention to Israel. The excuse this time, according to the AP, is Israel's construction of a ramp some 200 feet (60 meters) from the Temple Mount. "Palestinians" accused Israel of plotting to harm Islamic shrines.

I read an answer where a poster claimed that slavery and oppression in the democracy of the United States is responsible for the Civil Rights movement.

Many countries in the Americas had slavery. Australia had a large population of people of color and slavery. Only in the United States did slavery and oppression result in a "civil rights revolution".

Is that true, does the civil rights/human rights movement have its foundation in slavery and oppression in the United States and if so, why?
