My girlfriend and I were going out for 4 months before she broke up with me for various reasons. We still talk as friends and she still says that she loves me and that we may have a chance together again. She's going to this dance with another guy that she really likes but says that she won't fall for him. What I'm asking is what should I do to win her back and should I be worried about her being with this other guy, might it grow to be more then just a dance? Please, anyone who has any decent advice, give me a good answer, no answers that won't help me get her back.

The only reason you still talk as friends is because she doesnt have the nuts to just dump you cold turkey.
Would you please forget about her already?
The decent advice is to move on....she probably feels great about herself, knowing that you wish you could get her back, and that she has your attention...dont even talk to her dude.
Forget her, because she wont be thinking of you when that dude takes her back to the hotel.

Don't make yourself too available. I guarantee, if you start talking about another girl that you like, she will be back like a stray cat. She's putting you on the back burner while she cooks something up with this other guy because she knows if it doesn't work out with him, you'll be waiting. Don't be her plan B!
I know it's the hardest thing in the world, but if you back off and make her think she might have blown it with you, she'll come running back. We all want what we can't have, and we don't want what comes too easy. That's why you want her so bad. We enjoy a little bit of the chase.
Just when she thinks she lost you, start acting interested again. Then not interested. You get the idea.
It might sound cruel and dishonest, but trust me, it works. Especially for the young.

Okay first i know u have feelings 4 her but if u and her don't go out right now then she should be able to go to the dance with whomever she wants. If u really didn't want her to go with him then u should have asked her first. Also if u really want to be with her than u won't mind showing that u are a little might i say desperate. I know it sounds bad and who would want a girl to know that u are a little desperate to get her back. Its okay women like to feel like they are needed.

If you really care about her and want her back, then talk to her. Let her know that you still care about her a lot and it hurts you to see her with anyone else. Tell her that the way you feel for her..no one else could ever feel that way for her. Show her that you care about her. You said she broke up with you for various reasons..figure out what they were and fix them if you can!! Good Luck!

hey, i hate to brake it to ya but im shor she had good reasons to brake it off why would she go back with you if it wasnt working? i meran unless the things that wasnt right would change.. though i dont know what they are i think you need to get over her stop worrying about who shes with and if you can get her back! look if you spend hafe your life worrying about a guy or girl u used to date and all that stuff yull never br happy or find the right person trust me iv been through it and i guess i seen the light goodluck! ps.. if you and her are mint to be shell want you back and maby you and her could stay together..

keep talking to her, be nice and all...but if she really starts to like this other guy then you gotta let her go, cuz its probably for the better. if she doesn't dig the other guy, then go for it. talk to her more... ask her to hang out or somethin. just don't try and move too quickly
