Set yourself an absolute limit to lose.
If you double your money walk away.
If you play roulette any 'mistakes' you make only hurt your own pocket.
If you play black Jack (21) many players have a system and casino rules are not the same as when you play for fun, so read up on them, especially the bankers can/cant's. Watch a table and ask if you can play 'behind' That is where you play your bet behind another player who controls the 'seat' You make absolutely no comments good or bad, do not disturb the concentration of the player. So wait for a new shoe before asking.
Do this a few times before you even think about taking a seat. If you draw wrong in Black Jack you cost other people money.

A Couple of tips for you!
Never gamble when drunk
Never gamble more than you can afford
Don't take credit/debit cards with you
Try not to get carried away and go crazy
If your up, try to set yourself a cut off value and leave
NEVER be tempted by the flashing lights of the bandit machines

Take your time, mooch around and watch whats going on if you're not too sure what to expect, the croupiers will always help you out as well, remember the more friendly they are the more likely you are to sit and gamble.
Take full advantage of the freebies as well, dont be shy with that :)

The simple answer to your question is to be prepared to lose all your money.
Put anything you win in a seperate pocket/purse from the money that you take with you - and under NO circumstances should you touch it until you're home.
When the money you had originally runs out - stop gambling.

Allow yourself a specific amount of money you are prepared to spend and stick to it.
Try playing the slot machines first or watching people playing the tables before joining in.

set youself a spending budget and do'nt go over it, it is too easy to carry on thinking the next win will be a big one, just relax and enjoy yourself, there is nothing to worry about, enjoyxx

the first time i entered a casino i won maybe you will please only go with a small amount as its too easy to lose big if you dont

Have a budget and stick to it, and only play a game you know & understand. Other than that just relax and enjoy yourself!
