Well for a while now at times I have sharp pains in my chest. Then If I inhale, it feels like my heart is pulling or something. Then at other times it feels very heavy and it just hurts alot. I have mitral vavle prolapse and its when one vavle in my heart doesnt completely close. The doctor said I was fine about 5 months ago, but I guess the pain has gotten worst. Then it feels like my heart is beating extra hard. I just don't know, but is there anyone who knows?

ok here it is I have ben cutting my self for pain and hurt in my life and regret but my girl friend said she wanted me to stop and she said she started back up again and I didn't want her to but she saidif I didn't like really try to quet she said that she would think about getting back up again I said I would and thought it would be easy but it isn't I have a real hard time with it can any one help me I am 15 if that helps and yes I am a gurl.

I was so hurt by this. These guys at my school wre saying some awful things about my hair. They were saying that my hair was "nappy" and that I was "bald-headed" and that I used to have "good hair until I cut it" I hate the guys at my school. I used to have long hair down to my waist and now the guyus don't like me anymore because I don't "relax" my hair or wear it long. I'm tried of looking at an Ebony or Essence magazine with a Black woman with straight hair, Why can't we wear our own hair texture? And even if we do, our own people are always making us feel bad for having "Nappy hair" I'm tried of it. i'm tried of ignorant guys turning me down just because I happen to love my hair extra curly and turning me down because I'm not "light-skinned"

Poem:
My Dog Is a Plumber
My dog is a plumber, he must be a boy.
Although I must tell you his favorite toy
Is a little play stove with pans and with pots.
Which he really must like, 'cause he plays with it lots.
So perhaps he's a girl, which kind of makes sense,
Since he can't throw a ball and he can't climb a fence.
But neither can Dad, and i know he's a man,
And Mom is a woman, and she drives a van.
Maybe the problem is in trying to tell
Just what someone is by what he does well.

The poem " My Dog is a Plumber" by Dan Greenburg:
a - reflects a male dominated stereotype.
b - demonstrates the changing roles of men and women that was emerging in the 1970s and 1980s.
c - showes that despite the difference in the genders and the changes that were occurring, that there are still some of the traditioanl gender roles that make sense to the author.
d - showes that many people were opposed to the women's movement of the 1970s.
