I enjoy smiling. I will smile back or engage a smile.

It is a nice way to say hello and acknowledge someone, it could make their day, sure makes mine...smile.

It depends on who it is. When people I know do it, I like it. But sadly, it seems like most of the time the only strangers that smile at me are creepy guys. That's not so fun. For instance, I was in Applebees with my mother the other day and a guy sitting a couple booths away kept smiling at me. I scooted to where he couldn't see me, because I didn't like how he was looking at me. About 20 mins later I heard him telling his buddies a story about his wife. He was making googly eyes at me and he was married.

I usually love it. Unless it's a really creepy looking person. But if it's just warm and friendly, I smile back!

it makes me feel great. i always try to look good when i leave the house. when a stranger smiles or compliments me, its a great feeling.

If the smile seems sincere, I'd feel all warm and fuzzy. Not many people do that.

In USA, souther states thats custome to smile at eachother ...kinda like greeting ..
