Well for a while now at times I have sharp pains in my chest. Then If I inhale, it feels like my heart is pulling or something. Then at other times it feels very heavy and it just hurts alot. I have mitral vavle prolapse and its when one vavle in my heart doesnt completely close. The doctor said I was fine about 5 months ago, but I guess the pain has gotten worst. Then it feels like my heart is beating extra hard. I just don't know, but is there anyone who knows?

Any degree of chest tightness and/or heart palpitation needs to be medically investigated. 5 months ago was a fair time between check ups particularly if your symptoms have become worse. SEE YOUR DOCTOR at least for your own peace of mind. I hope all is well.

i have mitral valve prolapse also i have the same symptoms u do. my doc said it was depression n anxiety so he gave me meds did not help. cardiologist dont really do much for u i guess

OK a doctor would be a good place to start. Maybe ER if the pain is really bad....

You should call your doctor and explain your symptoms. I'll bet that your doctor knows the answer.

Don't listen to any advice here, go see a doctor. Your heart isn't something you want to guess or assume about. Please go see your doctor asap.

well i dunno in only 8 but get x-rayed with this special $1,000,000 machine and u might be able t find out
