Priss... The Spoiled Rotten Pomeranian. Thats her official name. As I type this, there are 2 cookie sheets of home made doggie biscuit/treats cooling on the stove. There are two batches.. one cheddar cheese, and one peanut butter. How spoiled is that?
She's the princess of the kingom here. But she deserves it... she's a rescue from a really bad situation. Its her time to learn that life is not all bad. She has learned that she can love... and be loved.

Hi. Firstly, I don't agree that pit bulls are outside dogs! But, then I would never keep any dog outside! A dog should be part of the family and live inside. There is nothing wrong with spoiling your dog, but there are limits. Human food is very bad for dogs. But then, I believe in feeding dogs, raw meat and raw bones. She needs to know you are pack leader, this is especially important with this breed. The not going to the bathroom without you, is what she has been trained to do. If you want to change that, then just gradually move back towards the door, when you take her out. Or install a dog flap, they she will get used to going in and out by herself. When you are eating, you need to ignore her or put her in another room until you have finished. You, should always eat, BEFORE your dog. Regarding, sleeping with you. If you fully trust her, then that's ok. I have 3 dogs, that sleep with me every night. (Shihtzus) But, they know I am pack leader. I have heard of dogs turning on their owners and causing severe injuries, whilst sleeping with their owners.

Yorkshire Terriers are feisty little dogs that are bred for ratting and I recently saw three of them working to clear a stack of logs infested with rats. Their speed, courage, accuracy and teamwork had to be seen to be believed.
These are strong, fit, hardy dogs who are all confident and well trained who enjoy life to the full. They do not yap, don't rule any roost and given the choice would probably never swap their lives for the unnatural life of a 'spoilt' pet.

I have three spoiled rotten dogs but they love me well and listen fairly well. The youngest one even picked out her own name. I call the others baby then their name. They are both fixed males. She needed to be called baby then her name and she responded at once. She would not accept the name she had before i got her. She was 3 months old at the time. She had to have a new name! They all seem to be happy and we are truly a pack. One reason i love the movie "Dances With Wolves".

My dogs are well behaved, happy, healthy & loved. However, they are not spoilt. A dog need to know that you, the owner, are the Alpha dog in the pack & needs to work out its own place in the pecking order. You may think that giving in to your dogs whims are being good to it but dogs get very stressed out if they are made to be the Alpha in the pack when they are not mentally or physically the natural Alpha.

My dogs are so spoiled it is embarrassing. I have 2 Maltese boys. They are treated better than most kids. They wouldn't stand for it any other way.......Short,cute story. Friend of mine calls me from her cell phone. She's talking to me and I can hear all this noise in the background. I asked if she had to go and she could call me back. Her answer was, "Oh no, it's O.K. I just had to run thru McDonalds to get Floozy her happy meal." Needless to say Floozy is her dog.................

My dog is my baby. I love treating her like a princess. She sleeps on my bed and sits on my lap.(she is also a small beagle). Kira(my dog) doesn't yap, but when she wants to go out, she will jump on us and show us the door, and when she wants to eat she will sit by the plate and wait for her servants. : )
