why can't the doctor just pull on what's left of the umbillical cord and pull the placenta out? I don't know much about the placenta - so I'm not trying to be gross - I just don't understand why it needs to be a mini-delivery. Nothing is attached, right?

Imagine this scenario. A maths class at school with the old fashioned trapdoor type desks. A class teacher says now, take out your angle measurers. A slightly deaf psychotic kid pulls out an angle grinder and revs it up. The teacher shouts timmy! What are you doing!?! What you told me to do miss! he says. Put it away at once!!!! the teacher shouts! How dare you! Timmy then drops it on the floor and it whizzes off out of shout.

Now I'm not a drama student, film expert or actor but I think, just in the opininon of this interested layman, that the above actor in this role is one of the best pieces of acting (esp. the USS Indianapolis monologue) I've seen in the last 30-odd years.

Does anyone agree or have a conflicting viewpoint? Thanks!

PS, I'm only young and not claiming to be an expert so please be gentle...I'd be interested to hear from any actors or film experts as tou their opininon on this film.

My former employer recently closed on an Asset Sale. in a way to continue in business yet seperate himself, and his new "employer" from his past debts...I, along with others are owed money, such as past salary, and out laid expenses. However the most damaging issue is that the employer had been deducting $224.00 from my check on a wkly basis to have health coverage, administered by his co. We were notified thyat the plan had been terminated over two mos. ago, and it would cost each employee approx. 1500 to $3500 to reactivate this plan retro. Does his well-planned action of Asset Sale protect him from liability? Is this criminal insurance fraud? And why does Florida appear to be a wonderful State to do Bad Business in?
