it signifies many things from minor problem related to hormonal problem to major one, cancer of breast. U just examine ur breast n make out whether there is any lump. If u find any thing, just go to surgeon. One thing more is that folecular adenosis is one entity in which pain starts during period. But u haven't described it .
My advise is to examine ur self ur breasts.
