i am doing a botany experiment involving silver thiosulphate solution. i have made the solution as per advised with 2.5 grams of silver nitrate. made up separately and 5 grams of sodiumthiosulphate. made separately. both were disolved into 2 x 500 mills of distilled water. once disolved they were mixed together while stirring briskly. when the solution had cleared there was a fair amount of black sediment suspended in the bottom of the solution. is this normal and has it mixed correctly or have i erred with something. the solution is supposed to stain skin brown.permanently. it does not do so..as you can see, i'm no chemist. just an keen amateur botanist. one last point, both the ingredients were both pure as . thank you.

Most officers I see are riding around most of the times. They do not have THAT MUCH to do. It would certainly be a refreshing change.

I'm looking for interesting facts & trivia on all the Captains actually, who's teams are competing in the upcoming Cricket World Cup. Graeme is the one who's quite dry compared to everyone else. It's for a series of promos which will be flighting on SuperSport before and during the World Cup, to inform viewers!!! Any info on additional players or umpires will be appreciated...

It's not like the world is full of intolerant people because even on Yahoo answers there are so many tolerant people from different faiths. But then again, religious intolerance is very much there. So, how can we have a society (if not a world) where people stop condemning each other to Hell and where they do not have REPENT NOW written on their faces?
What steps would you suggest to make the world or at least some part of it an example of tolerance?
Gathering various tolerant people and beginning a new society (something like Bertrand Russell's communal groups to facilitate children's growing up) perhaps?
All intelligent ideas are welcome.
Thank you.

Its too much we go with Gandhiji non-adhering to his real life story but we go with fictitious and false notes only. Cann't we see him what actually he was and not a mouth piece of congress proppaganda.

If I want to get in to amateur boxing at the age of 21 (I know I've left it a bit late) with the sole aim of working my way up to the top (Olympiad status) is it worth finding a boxing club in a city? I live in rural Dorset (UK) and was thinking maybe they aren't as prepared here to take fighters on as far as they would be in some of the bigger cities like Bristol, B'ham or London?

Any thoughts?
