If I want to get in to amateur boxing at the age of 21 (I know I've left it a bit late) with the sole aim of working my way up to the top (Olympiad status) is it worth finding a boxing club in a city? I live in rural Dorset (UK) and was thinking maybe they aren't as prepared here to take fighters on as far as they would be in some of the bigger cities like Bristol, B'ham or London?

Any thoughts?
