Its too much we go with Gandhiji non-adhering to his real life story but we go with fictitious and false notes only. Cann't we see him what actually he was and not a mouth piece of congress proppaganda.

Gandhi may not have been as great as he has been promoted to be.

He definitely was very diplomatic in many of his approaches. His non-violence approach is inherent in his physical weakness, and mental strength. If India were to rest on his non-violence movement principles alone, India would never have been free.

I think Nelson Mandela is a much greater personality in this aspect. He has shown courage, inflexiblity, endurance and mental courage and strength under much severe conditions in modern times under a ruthless administration. At the end he showed much better management skills and humility. He is the person to be admired the most across the world.

Gandhiji had his own shortcomings which in many ways had put restrictions on him in achieving what he really wanted to. For example, he didn't want the partition of the Indian subcontinent to take place but people around him such as Pandit Nehru - the first PM - forced him to give in! Had Nehru heeded Gandhi's advice, the history of the Indian subcontinent after 1947 would have been totally different!
