I am a violin amateur. At times my fingers get painful because of the contact between my fingers and the string esp doing the vibrato, also shifting. I assume all the professional violinists gradually get used to this discomfort. I watched a documentary on violin recently which reported the early violins had strings made of some totally different material though they were not as good as the ones we use today. But I am wondering if there are alternatives on the market for violinists. Maybe of a softer texture?? Please share your knowledge on the subject
THANK YOU

From watching the news I know many transwomen are murdered. The almost universal defense of these men are they thought they were picking up a women only later to discover it was a man or a post-op transgender. They panicked and killed the "man in the dress". I think this is a lame excuse to take a life. Maybe to at least hit the trans in a fit of blind rage, ok I can rationally understand that but to kill her? No I think these men went too far and they deserve life in jail. I know to be a trans is dangerous and they are assaulted all the time even when they are minding their own business. There is one thing I do not understand about some trans women. They have full knowledge that there are violent bigots out there. Yet they choose not to be honest about their trans status (pre-op or post-op) when engaging in a sexual relationship. Why would some transwomen intentionally place themselves in such a potentially dangerous position? I want to know at the time what was she thinking?

Dont bother posting if you are just going to say "It depends on your taste" because that is pointless. The theme of the CD is based around Valentine's Day. I'm not great with music and never remember song titles etc. so any help would be much appreciated.
