No, for sure! Ya can't trust a Democrat with any type of tax. I'm pretty sure he only changed his party affiliation, not his mind-set. Thanks, daljack, for the reminder.

Joseph Lieberman has missed at least 16 Iraq votes since 2003.
He was the only Senator to miss two key Iraq votes in 2003.
He has publicly contradicted himself on support for Bush’s Iraq war policy. Lieberman now denies he ever supported indefinite troop presence in Iraq. Despite all of these votes, Lieberman now claims he’s been trying to "end the war." Lieberman needs to make up his mind before he buries us under more taxes.

I have no problem paying a tax if it makes me, a citizen, safer.

I do have a problem if that tax money is used to fund an unnecessary war in the name of terror.

This war has become a giant pimple on the backside of America.

They've used all the surplus money we had.....put us back in a deficit...so additional taxing is next.

I'm really not surprised.

Nope. These congressmen and senators need to pull money out of their pork funds to finance this war. They waste so many of our tax dollars while filling the pockets of their chums.

If we are going to drag this darn war out, there has to be some way to finance it. I would rather the US got out of the business of policing thw world, but if that is what we are going to do, then we need to pay more.
