If a mosquito bites my father, that certain part of body bitten by the mosquito gets swollen. It takes around 3 to 4 days to come back to normal. Our family doctor (after taking blood test etc) told that the serum level in his blood is high, and there is no solution for it.
It's a great suffering for him. If he gets bitten by mosquito, he cannot go out anywhere for a couple of days, even for work.
Doctors or people who know anything about this, please reply as soon as possible.
[N.B:- If there is any method to reduce the swollenness, please tell. (my father does not have high pressure, diabetes or cholesterol)]

There is a two hour special of 24 next week. There is one problem I have a night class that gets out at 8 o clock and it takes me 15 minutes to walk back to my dorm.

Does anyone out there know the implications of being out in the medical field? I'm especially interested in admissions into medical school...has anyone ever applied and think that they were treated unfairly because of their sexual preference, or do you feel like the medical school staff and school population in general was accepting, or at the least apathetic?

I have a 3 stone, diamond engagement ring. Large stone in the middle with slightly smaller diamonds on each side. They are 4 prong so the sides of the diamonds touch each other. I smashed my hand against the shower door, I was trying to save the soap from falling.

Well now I have a "hairline crack" extending from the side of the large diamond into the middle. It is still one piece but it looks like a hairline crack.

What can I do? Will it stay together, do I have to replace it?

The situation is as follows. With credit cards my friend is in debt about $20,000. The interest is considerably high. She currently has a mortgage but I am not sure of the specifics. She needs to consolate without touching the home to get the interest down and get one payment. Is this possible or will the house mortgage have to be touched.

It is very easy to give up a right. If you want it back, expect a fight. Since 9/11, it seems as though people don't care.

Making one language preferential over another is un-American and according to some of our forefathers it was "unpatriotic" and unfair to the immigrant population.

Many argue that translating/interpreting is costly but compared to the lawsuits that can result by not providing this type of assistance, it's a pittance. By doing this, you are guilty of NATIONAL ORIGIN DISCRIMINATION. You don't deprive a person in a wheelchair of a ramp, a deaf person of an interpreter, or an illiterate person of an explanation. Depriving someone of their language is violating their civil rights!

Last I checked, the US Constitution, was the SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND and states that we have a right to free speech. It doesn't state that it has to be in English and FYI, the Articles of Confederation were translated to German so the German pop. could understand their rights.
